On (not) writing in Spanish
Every time I get the itch to write a blog again I have an internal debate whether I should do it in Spanish, my native tongue. One of my main motivations for writing is contributing to the Small/Indie/Weird Web and Dios sabe the internet could use more cultural diversity. But I also know that one of the best aspects of blogging is joining a diverse community, and the interface for that is English.
My compromise with this blog is to inject as much Spanish and Argentinean culture into my writing as I can. Not everyone has to get all the references. El que sabe sabe. And maybe there will be posts that make more sense to be written in Spanish. Quién sabe.
PS: Wrapping Spanish in italics (hispanics?) will get old very quickly, I'm going to stop.
